This is an existing reader profile for NME readers, it is highly detailed with many figures relating to what kind of people read the magazine. This reader profile shows the breakdown of the type of people who buy the magazine, this will help decide what kind of articles, features, artists and adverts will be put into the magazine and how effective they will be on the reading audience. The figures on the reader profile are exact and cover a wide range of things including very important aspects of who buys the magazines like the percentage of which gender buys it where a whole 69% of readers are Male. This will real help the publishers of the magazine advertise to the larger male audience and also include articles that are more written in a style familiar and common to males, but also importantly not forgetting to include things that females would enjoy as this would be counterproductive. One thing that this reader profile does lack is artists and what kind of artists the readers listen to and enjoy which is a main factor in the readers of the magazine however this could be unimportant as the magazine has its own genre already in place, and the readers choose the magazine due to its genre. However it could help by deciding what kind of prizes can be won because the magazine can pick a large audience to aim them at. Overall I think that this reader profile is very effective with its dense amount of sums and clear target audiences that will really help the magazine publishers decide what they would put in the magazine.

MY TEST SHOTS
Wednesday, 21 November 2012
This is a breakdown of what feedback we recived from our focus groups. With this and research of existing magazines similar to mines price and freequency. most being priced from, £2.50 to aound £4, i have decided my magazine will be priced at £3.20 because it would be a higher end magazine but within an accesible price. Also my magazine will be a once monthly magazine because of the kind of big celebrities i would want in this magazine due to there audience appeal, also i will be able to focuse on a whole new chart rather then every week where the music charts will bearly change in such a short time.
